DISCOVERING THE FLAVOURS AND CULTURE OF CAMPO DE BORJA
The Campo de Borja Protected Designation of Origin, one of the oldest in Aragon, is recognized for the quality of its wines, especially those made with the Garnacha Tinta grape variety.
This wine-growing region, with a tradition that dates back centuries, combines current techniques with a respect for the ancestral legacy, preserving its material heritage in the form of old vines planted in goblet.
Its vineyards, located in a privileged environment in the province of Zaragoza, take advantage of the characteristics of the Cierzo, a cold and dry wind, the continental-Mediterranean climate and the varied soils to produce intense, aromatic, subtle wines with a marked personality.
The wines of Campo de Borja gain recognition every year both nationally and internationally, standing out for their richness and diversity in the treatment of Garnacha Tinta.
The Denomination not only promotes viticulture, but also the history and cultural heritage exhibited in the Monastery of Veruela, as well as the landscape of the area in the various areas through which its towns extend from the plains, at 350 meters, to the slopes on the slopes of the Moncayo at 700 meters high.
